It started with a feeling.
I’ve always been drawn to accessories—the one thing that could pull everything together, no matter the outfit. Whenever I went shopping, even if nothing else worked, I could always find a bag that just clicked. Something that felt like me.
ZC The Label is a contemporary handbag brand creating mini bags, oversized clutches, and everyday handbags designed to move effortlessly from day to night—whether you’re running errands, heading to dinner, or stepping out for the night.
Over time, that feeling turned into curiosity.
I’d walk through stores, studying the details, thinking… I could make this. Or better yet—what if it looked like this instead? Different texture. Better color. A little more edge.
So I decided to try.
I started with jewelry, but it didn’t take long for handbags to take over. They felt bigger. More expressive. More me.
With my mom guiding me—she’s an incredibly talented seamstress—and a lot of trial and error, I taught myself how to design and sew my own handbags. What started as a challenge quickly became something I couldn’t put down.
There were long nights, YouTube tutorials, mistakes I had to redo over and over—but eventually, it clicked.
And once it did, there was no going back.
I moved beyond the basics, experimenting with textures, bold colors, and silhouettes that felt more interesting—because to me, a simple outfit deserves a statement bag.
That’s the foundation of ZC The Label.
Every handbag is designed to bring that element of contrast—the kind of piece that elevates your outfit without trying too hard.
As the vision grew, so did the process.
What once came to life on my home sewing machine has evolved into fully manufactured designs—allowing me to scale while still holding onto the intention behind every detail.
Along the way, certain pieces became milestones.
The first was the Winnie.
A mini bag with a classic flap silhouette, finished with a sculptural, moon-shaped gold handle—simple, but designed to stand out.
The name carries meaning.
The Winnie is named after my grandmother, Winifred—a remarkable seamstress in her own right. This piece is an ode to her, and to the lineage of creativity and craftsmanship that made all of this possible.
And while the design makes a statement, function was never an afterthought.
Every bag is designed to fit your essentials—your phone, your cards, your go-to items—making it the kind of small bag you can rely on for everyday wear, quick errands, and nights out.
